Hong Kong 2047

As you may know, there is currently "one country, two systems" - with Kong Kong allowed its own capitalist economic and political systems ("Special Administrative Region"), while the rest of China uses the communist/socialist system.

This is due to run until 2047.

What do you think will happen after that? Will Hong Kong be integrated back into China, or will it remain separate?

I think China will be so westernized by that time that any mergence will be almost unnoticeable.

Doesn't our very own timeline estimate that China's rising middle class will bring increased property rights by 1950?
