Nuclear war and global warming

Postby sabichos on Mon Mar 14, 2011 1:29 pm

I've just read that a small nuclear war can "cure" or ease the global warming effects
I saw there was a small nuclear war at the years 2020-2030 - maybe the global warming later effects can be mallow down?

What would you rather do...cause a nuclear war and kill off hundreds of thousands of humans ( plus causing a nuclear winter, a freezing epoch that is about 2x worse than an ice age ), or allow the Earth to get a bit warmer?

perhaps we don't have to go into war just so we can cause mindless nuke explosions... who's writing these articles?

But... haven't we detonated about 2000 atomic bombs since 1945? How many more would it take to constitute a small nuclear war? I think I'd personally consider 2000 to already be the equivalent of a "large" nuclear war (albeit one spaced out over about 50 years, from 1948-1998, but still...)
