Also, which country will get there first? America or China? Or will it be an international/collaborative effort?

Discuss...

I think that it'll be an International effort to Mars and we will go there between 2050-59.

I think sometimes around 2050, when space veichles will be faster. It would be either India or China or a joint operation where also USA and Eruope will participate

NASA seems to be cutting all of their manned missions to celestial objects. In 2006, they announced that they were returning to the Moon in 2020, and that they were going to build a moon base there, but for some weird reason, Obama cut it. The manned missions to the Moon will likely be from China, but when China announces that they are going to put a man on the Moon, it may start another space race. I'm just not sure.

Manned missions to Mars? I'd say....in the 2050's. They would have to make a lot of changes to space craft. They would have to make one going...eh... a little faster than the New Horizons probe.
